The Yoga Day-

21 June is going to be a great day in calendar from this year.

Yoga is a form of life which gives us inner peace, self confidence and the most important thing is that,that it decomposes our negative thoughts. Positive attitude is a path of success. Yoga, determines the capacity of your inner strength i.e. Mind and body. These two leads a person in every form of life. It gives strength to our soul, to get purified. It transforms the life from one orbit to the desired or perfect orbit. It strengthens a person for an orbit shifting purpose. Along with that it shows path of life and generates the positive energy to come out from darker lane to open sky.

If we will talk about Yoga’s birth anniversary then it would be tough for anyone to break the ice. Since pre- vedic era India was a leader and grabbed the world’s attention. India is famous for its culture and tradition. India gave zero formula to the world. Yoga is not new to the people of India or across the world. The world is now habituated to celebrate every single day for single purpose. Modern mentality speaks and concentrates on one topic for a particular time frame. We celebrate Mother’s Day, Father’s day, Valentine’s Day, Labour Day, Earth Day, Environment Day, Friendship Day, Health  Day, AIDS Day but there are few dates we all remember as mandatory occasions since our school days like  Children’s Day, Teachers Day, Independence Day, Republic Day, Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October and vice versa. Indian Prime Minister declared the day for Yoga during his American tour while addressing U N General Assembly last year. Since then the country is making rrangements to celebrate this day in best possible way. 21 June will now be marked as “The Yoga Day”,in the list of special calendar after this session. It is going to be the longest day of the year.  Sun will remain in the sky for more hours to extend the daylight.

Yoga carries different meaning for different people. There are several type of Yoga’s- Karm Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Hath, Dhyan, Samadhi and many more. Different yoga techniques contain different style and rule to perform and gain the desired goal. There are several gurus or leaders on this earth to lead, maintain and pass on the teaching techniques of yoga to the common people to enjoy the internal freedom of their soul. The is a huge list of leaders who teaches human values to human lives via various kinds of yoga chapters. Adiguru who was a forefront of Yoga and sent his seven disciples in different directions in the world to promote the art of living. The most popular names in the world of Yoga like K.Pattabhi, Maharshi Mahesh Yogi, Sri Arbinda, Maharshi Patanjali, Swami Vivekanada, Ram Krishna Paramhans and Sri Sri Ravishankar, Suneel Singh, Bharat Thakur and the very very famous personality across the world today is Baba Ramdev who started yoga on TV channels at early morning hours.

Yoga provides the power to fight with your negative feelings, to stand firm with your attitude and to understand and to differentiate between right and wrong. No doubt it keeps you fit and healthy for the daily life. Different gurus taught different Yoga’s to their disciples. Swami Vivekanand taught the spiritual yoga –where you inhale the essence and beauty of the Almighty by concentrating on one point to create a connection between mind and soul by which a follower receives a light of knowledge after practicing uncountable days. Simultaneously, you have to exhale the thrust, violence and ego. This inhaling and exhaling process proceeds towards his goal. Meditation is also a pure form of yoga which controls your mind on a certain point like we keep certain things in our mind such as not to jump the red light because it’s  violation of rules and regulations. Sri Arbindo was a poet and spiritual leader. He concentrated his thought to purify soul and mind. Mahatma Buddh & Mahavir showed the path of humanity to this world. In modern era Sri Sri Ravishankar tried to give a new form of life to the world. Art of living – it specifies – live your life the way you want. If you love singing then sing, dancing then dance rather than taking burdens thinking about problems that might occur tomorrow. In the form of exercise Baba Ramdev motivated that he could diagnose all diseases via yoga. Laughing club is the most famous amongst common people. Mostly old age people perform this exercise in a group at open air. In today’s hectic working lifestyle people hardly get time to maintain proper yoga culture. Hence, they use shortcut to keep themselves fit by joining gym. People receive fast results but later they suffer.

Yoga is a magnificent culture. The whole nation will perform from Surya Namaskar to rest aasana’s. Question rises that those who are in practice will constantly exercise yoga in regular days. But,  those who are not habitual of exercising yoga regularly, would they be able to perform this exercise everyday after 21 June too? 6-14 years old children in urban and rural areas work for their daily butter and bread, they have not even seen the face of the school till date,What will happen to those below poverty line children as well as the adults who are still fighting everyday for their survival? From Rajasthan alone fifty thousand people will perform the yoga session with PM Modi. Therefore, it’s a good initiative from the central government. Several decades had gone after independence but, not even a single government had thought in such a manner to initiate and execute such marvelous practice. Hopefully, it will not only be a single day celebration like other dates in calendar.
